At the same time that you are working on your CBEL project, you will participate in small group discussions aimed at honing reflective thinking, knowledge organization, critiquing of your own ideas and the ideas of others, oral communication and leadership skills. The subjects of the discussions will be based on important societal, ethical, and bio-physical issues facing the civil engineering profession. Pairs of students are responsible for leading at least one 40-minute discussion. Each pair decides on the topic of the discussion. This is your opportunity to lead a learning activity with your peers! Have fun!
